MOM STUDIO stands as a testament to the creative synergy between two visionary interior architects, Mr.Naewnay Satumtira and Miss Supawan Aothongthip. Their partnership traces back to the storied corridors of the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, where their friendship took root in 2005. United by a profound passion for design, business, and spirituality, they embarked on a transformative journey, culminating in the inception of their design team in 2008. Although without any name, their fledgling team ventured into the realm of design competitions and workshops, both locally and abroad, laying the groundwork for their future endeavors.
Following their graduation from the esteemed architecture and interior architecture program, Mr.Naewnay and Miss Supawancharted divergent paths to explore their individual interests further.
Mr.Naewnay immersed himself in the realms of graphic and product design at GEO Décor from 2008 to 2010, honing his craft in developing comprehensive home decoration collections and mastering the nuances of visual merchandise and home styling. Subsequently, his tenure at P49 Design, an international interior design firm, provided him with invaluable exposure to high-profile hospitality projects, fostering a profound evolution in his professional acumen.
Finally transitioning to SANSIRI, a titan in Thailand's real estate sector, Mr. Naewnay delved into the intricacies of residential design and real estate project development, gaining invaluable insights from both the designer’s and the developer’s perspectives. Recognizing the significance of marketing in fulfilling their entrepreneurial vision, Mr. Naewnay pursued a master's degree in marketing from MIM, Thammasat Business School, in 2016, enriching his strategic prowess.
Conversely, Miss Supawan delved into the nuanced realm of lighting research within interior architecture, concurrently sharing her expertise as an esteemed lecturer at Chulalongkorn University. Balancing her academic commitments as an interior lighting research graduate student, she collaborated with Mr. Naewnay on a myriad of freelance projects, enriching their collective portfolio with diverse experiences across various project typologies and clientele.
In 2014, fueled by a shared ethos and an unwavering commitment to excellence, MOM STUDIO emerged as a beacon of innovation in the realm of interior and architecture design.
